Doctors for Artsakh

  • In 2021, FAR started the “Doctors for Artsakh” project with AAHPO (Nazarian family and Hovanessian family funds) and AMF funding
  • In the project’s scope, more than 50 physicians from Armenia went to work in Artsakh on a rotating principle
  • Some of these doctors stayed there and only after the 2023 displacement returned to Armenia

The AAHPO, Dr. Raffy Hovanessian Medical Education Program

  • This is the only accredited program focused on Artsakh healthcare professionals/physicians.
  • After displacement, almost all Artsakh physicians trained in our program’s scope received many credits for getting the license in Armenia.
