It is with great sadness that AAHPO notes the passing of John Apovian MD, who passed away on October 7th, 2023, at the age of 95. He was the father of AAHPO Member Caroline Apovian, MD. Through his career, he assisted with growth of Hackensack Meridien Health Center.

Dr. Apovian is survived by his beloved wife, Ines. Devoted father of Caroline (August), Philip (Yi Lu), Mark, and Mina (Harold). Cherished grandfather of John, Philip, Harrison, and Weston. Dr. Apovian will be missed by many family, friends, co-workers, patients, and all who had the immense pleasure of knowing him.

All are welcomed at Armenian Presbyterian Church, 140 Forest Avenue in Paramus, NJ on Wednesday, October 25th from 6-9 PM. Funeral services held at the Armenian Presbyterian Church on Thursday, October 26th at 11 AM. Interment following at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.
